
The Rhode Island Telephone billing portal update improves the way customers manage and pay their bills. This update comes in response to valuable customer feedback and our ongoing commitment to providing a more streamlined, user-friendly experience.
The new Rhode Island Telephone billing portal is designed to simplify your payment process, offer more flexible billing options, and provide quick, secure access to your account and invoices.
All current customers have been notified of this update. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about the transition, including what’s changing and how to start using the new system.
What’s Changing in the Rhode Island Telephone Billing Portal
We are transitioning from our previous billing partner, WisePay, to Alternative Payments.
- Easy and secure payments, with the added ability to store multiple ACH and credit card accounts
- Flexible installment plans for larger invoices
- Customizable automatic payment options to better fit your billing preferences
- Ability to add team members from your organization for shared access and delegated billing management
Effective June 1, 2025, the existing WisePay billing portal will no longer be available, you can start
using the new portal immediately.
Please note: Any changes made in the WisePay portal, including updates to payment methods or preferences, will not carry over to the new billing system. Please make all future updates directly in the new portal.

Your Payment Options
The following payment options are now available to our valued customers.
- ACH (Bank Transfer): Free and secure. You can save your bank details for future use.
- (Whitelist Originator ID: 8263863381 if required by your bank.)
- Credit/Debit Cards: 2.9% fee for Visa, MasterCard, and Discover; 3.5% fee for American Express
- Pay Over Time: Finance large invoices over 30 to 150 days with approval from Alternative Payments (financial review may apply)
- Automatic Payments: Already enrolled? No action needed — your autopay settings will transfer automatically. Not enrolled? Set it up under Preferences in your new billing dashboard
