Rhode Island Telephone is excited to announce an important update for all CloudWorx users. We’re transitioning to a new mobile app provider to deliver enhanced reliability, improved performance, and a better user experience.
What’s Changing?
We’re introducing the new CloudWorx mobile app, now available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Similar interface: no learning curve for your team.
- Enhanced reliability and security: Enhanced call quality and stronger protection for your data.
- Better overall user experience: no more dropped calls or phantom ringing
We’re continuing to fine-tune the app, adding new features and making design improvements as we go.
SMS Customers
SMS messaging is not yet available in the new CloudWorx mobile app, but this feature is planned for a future update. If you currently use SMS, please keep the previous version of the CloudWorx app active for now.
You may have both versions of the app installed on your mobile device; however, we ask that you contact our office so we can properly configure your phone’s answering rules and ensure everything functions as expected.
How Do I Get the New CloudWorx App?
Head to your device’s app store and search for CloudWorxCX. Look for the icon below and click to download and install on your mobile phone.

We recommend all CloudWorx users switch to the updated CloudWorx app to take advantage of the latest features and improved security.
